Dear Mexico Participants and Parents,

We have been monitoring the various situations in Mexico very carefully and based on growing concerns around instability in Mexico, we have been strongly advised by trusted authorities in both the United States and Mexico to not bring a group of our size into Mexico at this time.

Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Mexico trip.

As you know, we promised if there was any question about the safety and security of our students, volunteers and staff, we would not hesitate to cancel the trip. While this decision is disappointing for all of us and our partner churches in Mexico, we believe it is the right and responsible one.

We know many of you were looking forward to serving, growing, and being part of a week that has impacted lives for decades. We share in that disappointment with you.

At the same time, we remain committed to making wise and prayerful decisions.  Thank you for your trust throughout this process.

Regarding your registration, we want to make the next steps as clear and flexible as possible for your family. You’ll be able to choose from the following options:

1. Receive a full refund

2. Transfer your registration to the Mexico 2027 trip

3. Apply the funds toward Summer Camp this year

4. Donate your registration to support ongoing Mexico ministry efforts

While we won’t be going to Mexico, we are making plans to serve locally, gather together, and worship as we head into Easter. Stay tuned for more information.
